Exciting news! Fox 19 noticed Agape Art's presence at the Fairfield Community Arts Center and did a short story on Agape Art on February 13th, 2008. Becky Covert, Founder of Agape Art, met with Fox 19 at the FCAC that morning to show off the artwork, explain the history and the vision of Agape Art, and encouragee others to get involved by visiting the Community Reception on February 29th or making a direct donation through Vineyard Community Church.

Handcrafted items including backpacks, purses, pillows, and paintings made by the Agape Girls in the first Agape Art camp of 2007 will be for sale. ALL proceeds of these items directly support the Agape Girls "Livlihood" fund. A portion of all other artwork sales of local artists and team members support the efforts of the 2008 team to travel to the Philippines this summer to faciliate the 2nd annual Agape Art camp at Rainbow Village.
